Ten years after moving to a new, sprawling 1.1 million sf campus for which T|G provided the original site design, DHMC, a regional medical center serving northern New England, launched a major expansion and renovation of its diagnostic and treatment facilities. The resulting project included major additions to two wings of the complex linked by a pedestrian mall and dining pavilion, three new arrival areas for visitors and parking garage. Existing surface parking and entry drives were redesigned to provide a clear and understandable arrival experience for patients. Ambulance and helicopter emergency services and the medical center’s maintenance facility were relocated.
