The Hotchkiss School, a historic secondary boarding school set in the hills of northwestern Connecticut, retained Towers|Golde to develop a comprehensive Landscape Master Plan. The analysis of the campus and programming interviews identified several key opportunities for improvements addressing visual identity, vehicle and pedestrian circulation and safety, and environmental stewardship.

T|G’s work was coordinated and combined with that of the architect to produce one comprehensive plan with integrated concepts, priority phasing and budgets. A landscape vocabulary of plantings, paving, lighting and site furnishings was developed.
