The goal of this expansion was to broaden the scope of this resort’s client base. T|G’s charge was to seamlessly integrate a new 300 bed hotel into the existing landscape fabric of an expansive casino complex while accommodating the programmatic elements of outdoor spaces, parking and general vehicular circulation. Particular attention was paid to the design of a pedestrian terrace which provides a flexible landscape space for the guests. All of this expansion has been designed to fit within the existing general landscape aesthetic of the casino campus. The predominately native plantings reinforce the building’s geometry while providing a contextually appropriate palette for the surrounding area.
