Nolan Greenhouses, New York Botanical Garden
The new propagation range for the New York Botanical Garden allow the horticulture and living collections staff to meet the challenging goals of the future. This state of the art facility supports the work of creating a world class museum of living plants from where collections are transplanted to the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, the arboretum and outdoor gardens.
Adjacent to the Benenson Ornamental Conifer Collection, challenges at the time included existing ledgerock, collection trees to be protected and the remote nature of the site.
