T|G Community Service at Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven

T|G worked on a community service project Saturday at the National Landmark Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven. They planted a new 350-foot flowering shrub border, with the aid of the cemetery staff. The Friends of Grove Street Cemetery funded the purchase of 52 large shrubs and flowering trees. A thank you also to Sandweiss Tree Service for transporting the plants and providing other supplies. Huge thanks to all who helped. A second phase of planting will be done next year, for which contributions are welcome!
