T|G’s role at Xavier University has blossomed from designing a discrete gateway to creating a new campus-wide Master Plan in keeping with the university’s defined planning principles and unique core values as a Catholic institution in the Jesuit tradition. While the larger vision is focused on creating memorable human-scaled places with distinct character that reflect the ecology of the larger Cincinnati region, the planning has also created opportunities for work with a larger team of professionals to address long-term expansion within two distinct districts of this dynamic institution.

Landscape aesthetic, circulation and access, perceptual form and special identity treatments were considered in relationship to the existing site and future development. Sustainability has also been a driving force in directly planning decisions.
